LifeBrand

LifeBrand is a pioneering platform that empowers users to cultivate a positive digital presence.

Founded by T.J. Colaiezzi in 2018, LifeBrand leverages artificial intelligence to help users curate their online reputation by identifying and removing potentially harmful social media posts. 

The platform offers both consumer and business solutions to ensure responsible social media use, protecting individuals and businesses alike from the repercussions of outdated or inappropriate online content.

03. Challenge

In today’s digital age, everyone’s actions, beliefs, and views are published online for anyone to see.

For the first time in history, everyone on social media has their personal brand and online reputation. One wrong post or comment can inadvertently damage someone’s reputation and ultimately harm their professional career.

Businesses are also at risk of hiring potential employees whose past social media activity could damage their public image. T.J. Colaiezzi wanted to create the world’s first social media scanner that would help identify potentially harmful posts from the past that could damage someone’s brand and reputation. This solution needed to educate users about their digital presence and offer tools to help them proactively manage their online footprint.

We aimed to build a solution that could effectively scan various social media platforms for harmful content, provide users with actionable insights, and offer a seamless process for deleting or addressing flagged posts. This required leveraging AI and machine learning to create a robust and intuitive platform capable of handling the complexities of modern social media usage.

04. Solution

OAK'S LAB partnered with LifeBrand to address these challenges and transform T.J.'s idea into a robust digital platform. Starting from scratch, we embarked on a journey to develop a comprehensive, scalable, and user-friendly solution. 

We began with an in-depth exploration of LifeBrand’s vision and business goals. This phase included the creation of a detailed product roadmap, establishing a brand style guide, and defining the technical specifications needed to achieve the desired outcomes.

Our team developed prototypes for various components, including the marketing website, consumer web application, business web application, and admin portal. We conducted extensive user testing to refine these designs, ensuring the platform was intuitive and met user needs.

We focused on building a robust Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that integrated social media accounts, identified harmful posts, and allowed users to delete them. By leveraging advanced AI and machine learning, we created a comprehensive data set of offensive terms and trained the AI to flag harmful content accurately.

Post-MVP, we continued to enhance the platform by adding features such as image recognition and video analysis. Our scalable architecture allowed seamless integration with additional social media platforms, ensuring LifeBrand remained at the forefront of digital reputation management technology.

05. Outcome

The partnership between LifeBrand and OAK'S LAB achieved several significant milestones and accomplishments:

LifeBrand successfully raised over $46.7M through multiple funding rounds, underscoring strong investor confidence and the platform's vast potential. The company also secured high-profile partnerships with major sports teams from the NFL, MLB, and NBA, including the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons, enhancing its credibility and market reach.

LifeBrand’s user base expanded to over 100,000 individuals and businesses, solidifying its position as a social media reputation management leader. We developed a state-of-the-art AI-powered platform that scans and identifies harmful posts across multiple social media platforms. Integrating advanced image and video recognition further enhanced the platform’s effectiveness.

Additionally, LifeBrand provided businesses with a valuable tool to ensure that potential hires and associated celebrities maintain a clean and professional online presence. It empowered individual users to take control of their digital footprint, protecting their personal brand. The innovative use of AI and the strategic prioritization of features allowed LifeBrand to adapt and scale swiftly, establishing it as a pioneering leader in social media reputation management.

The platform was further validated in 2024 when LifeBrand was acquired by Sentiment AI. The robust platform we built gained traction with users and attracted the interest of leading AI organizations, establishing LifeBrand as a standout product in the digital reputation management space.
